Dear Senators Boxer and Feinstein:

The League of Women Voters urges you to co-sponsor and vote for the D.C. Voting Rights Act. Citizens of the District of Columbia pay U.S. taxes, die for our country and are governed by the laws that Congress passes. Yet they have no voting representatives in Congress.

It is only fair and just that Congress ensures that the democracy Americans have espoused and fought for across the globe becomes a reality.
