I am writing to let you know that the 220-plus members of the League of Women Voters of the Monterey Peninsula urge you to sign SB 840 (Kuehl), the California Health Insurance Reliability Act.

An affordable solution to the health care crisis in the State of California is an imperative. The League of Women Voters advocates a health care system in California, indeed in the entire United States, that provides access to basic health care for all citizens while controlling health care costs. SB 840 does that. We hope you agree and will sign the bill quickly.
