Health Bill Sound

To the Editor:

More than 6 million California residents, as many as 80 percent of whom are employed, have gone without health insurance in recent years. The League of Woman Voters of California strongly supports state Sen. Sheila Kuehl's SB 840, the California Health Insurance Reliability Act, which would provide fiscally sound, affordable health insurance for all Californians, with the right to choose their own physicians while controlling health cost inflation.
